Okay... so. Wow. I just finished the above book, 5th book in the Fever Series~ Shadowfever and I've got the whole gambit of emo's going on right now! LOL! Gonna be frank here, (when am I not?!) I had to shut it off before listening to the strange ass fucking "Song" at the end. WTF was that? I got about 1.5 minutes in and um, yeah. It's some strange music with a sitar going on and uhhh, PHIL GIGANTE's voice saying random, creepy, sexy things... I never honestly thought I could feel embarrassed sitting home ALONE in a room, (my cat's even upstairs sleeping) but my cheeks got all hot and red and I cleared my throat and plucked out my ear buds and said out loud "Okay, enough of that... I'm good bro." LOL! It was that... disturbing? It bordered on sexy and creeptastically ODD! I dunno. *shudder* but since that was the last thing I HEARD from my mp3 player, it's fresh in the ol' noggin'! Sorry. Most, if not all, of you don't do the audiobook thing, but this was quite the errrr... "production". The dude's got the voice of the sexiest thing EVER walking this earth, I swear to god! Gigante does Barrons voice just like... so... well, that I think he may be my #1 favorite male narrator now! I'm sorry Holter Graham, step aside and take a back seat! :P Seriously though, this book was fantastic. I had left my last blog entry all freaked out and anxiety ridden, worrying that what I thought was going to happen, WOULD happen, and well, yeah, it DID happen, but it ended up being not so horrific as I thought it would be, even though I sniffled and privately sobbed like a baby through the first freaking half of the book! LOL! I know, mushy baby! Shuddup! This was the culmination of all the whole story, the "ending" for this plot (even though she's done a spin off, "Iced" which is Dani's book, but I am going to pass on that, I think!) and it was a fantastic ending. This whole series has been awesome, I'm SOOO glad that I finally sucked it up and started it! The sexy sexy took a couple of books, but once it took stage, it was my weakness, hahah! It made me HAVE to love the book, and I did! *bashful* This last one was a bit long, definitely not THE longest book I've ever listened to (um, hello Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon!) but it felt like it was kinda dragging along in parts, though it quickly picked back and moved right along for me. Everything balanced out and there was plenty of twists and turns to keep me on my toes and interested enough to finally fall madly in love with it! I recommend this series to ANYONE and EVERYONE, and even though I have that book mourning thing going on right now, I have many lined up on my mp3 player that I'm sooo excited to give a listen! Just not sure which I'll pick next! :) Happy reading everyone!

Hi!!! So... HOLY FECKING SHIT!!!! I just finished this book and although I was daydreaming for a while now about what I was going to say about this book and why it was just OFF PUTTING for me, the fecking end is like a CLIFF HANGER FROM HELL!!! oh holy hell!!! I literally reached for my mp3 player, shut it off and scrambled over to my desk to get the final book loaded and started- but then I thought, DAMN, I have to do a review!!! So yeah. I'm letting my mp3 player charge for a little while and I just loaded up the 5th and final book in this Fever series to start it right after I post this! LOL! So... back to my "off putting" remark... well I had noted a few other words down as well such as 'uncomfortable', strange direction the book was taking, odd 'animal mentality' Mac was going through in the beginning (pri'ya) which I kinda get but it still was read oddly and felt uncomfortable! And I've heard a very tiny handful of books read in such a way as this one, where a talented female reader, in this case it's Natalie Ross, reads the actual narration of the book and any female speaking parts, and the ohhhh soooo lovely Phil Gigante reads any male speaking parts. I've heard books set up this way before, and they are... interesting. There is a bit of a strangeness when books are outlined this way, because obviously the two readers aren't sitting where ever reading their parts TO one another when there are speaking parts in the book, so it feels very strange, and like the listener KNOWS that fact and it's a little unsettling, because when the speaking parts are "pieced together" they feel disingenuous and just, out of place, off putting and over all... odd! It's a strange little feeling listening to a female read and then when you anticipate her to take on a male voice in a male speaking part (which many female readers do quite well, it's shocking!) and this rumbly often times gravely and dark voice comes out of the headphones, especially when it's Gigante's voice- his is other worldly to say the LEAST, it's just startling and takes damn near the whole book to kinda get the flow of and often times I'm fairly distracted when he voices the male characters, that my brain kinda tweaks out a little! LOL! Anyway... the plot was very strange in the beginning with Mac having gone Pri'ya... which is a pretty much fae sex addiction, and well Barrons takes it upon himself to "treat and cure" her addiction using himself. Now that kind of bothered me, I did NOT want their relationship to "go there", THAT way! UGH! Bad call Moning! I have a strong fondness for Barrons at this point, AND Mac (even though the "Mac" in this book is a little too much, too cocky, too annoying and just TOO MUCH but I digress!) and the coupling in such a way was just icky... it left a bad taste in my mouth! And the CLIFF HANGER AT THE END..... GOOD GOD!!!!!!!!!!!! I sear to god, when I plug book 5 in and start listening, if it's what I think it is... I am going to BAN ever listening to another fecking Moning book for as long as I live!!!! I honestly have a sick sinking feeling in my tummy regarding the cliff hanger, and am petrified!!!! Eeeeeep!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay... so... because it felt funny in the beginning and took a while to 'come around', I gave his one:
