Bestselling author Kresley Cole continues her seductive Immortals After Dark series with this tale of a vampire shunned even by his own kind and a beautiful phantom, bound together by a passion they cannot resist. A RAVEN-HAIRED TEMPTRESS OF THE DARK... Néomi Laress, a famous ballerina from a past century, became a phantom the night she was murdered. Imbued with otherworldly powers but invisible to the living, she haunts her beloved home, scaring away trespassers -- until she encounters a ruthless immortal even more terrifying than Néomi herself. A VAMPIRE WARRIOR CONSUMED BY MADNESS... To prevent him from harming others, Conrad Wroth's brothers imprison him in an abandoned manor. But there, a female only he can see seems determined to drive him further into madness. The exquisite creature torments him with desire, leaving his body racked with lust and his soul torn as he finds himself coveting her for his own. HOW FAR WILL HE GO TO CLAIM HER? Yet even if Conrad can win Néomi, evil still surrounds her. Once he returns to the brutality of his past to protect her, will he succumb to the dark needs seething inside him?

Hello, hello! Here I am, back with my review....errrr...opinion? On the 5th book in the Immortals After Dark series by the AH-MAZING Kresley Cole. *sigh* What can I say about these books that hasn't already been gushed about?? All of her IAD books are released on hard back and e-reader format, and she's slowly releasing them on audiobook (derrrr Cole, should have done that to begin with! helllllooooo!!!) so I patiently wait the 3-5 months in between books and then scurry to get my greedy hands on them. I took advantage of this one the DAY it was released on audio! I have thought about just going and buying the Kindle versions, but *sigh* I can't really even imagine READING these books. The narrator  Robert Petkoff in this and most of the others case is just so perfectly PERFECT when reading and he gives each character a very specific voice and his ACCENTS! Oh my! Perfection!! Seriously! I just adore him reading these books! This story was awesome, it brings in old familiar characters too and I fell for Conrad and Neomi's story, head over heels! I was wondering how it would come to pass, her being a "ghost" through more than half the book, but   it DID come to pass and it was so delightful! Petkoff gave Neomi the sweetest, most endearing adorable french accent ever to grace my ears and I grew sooo fond of it, I can still hear little bits and pieces in my mind if I pay close enough attention and remember hard enough, soooo very sweet and makes the world of difference than just having READ the words on a page, in my opinion. I am looking forward to the next book, whomever that is about (I don't want to read the snippet from good reads because I want to wait and be surprised) and can not wait to get my greedy little hands on it!!!! Very excited!

If it's at all possible, I want to give this book 12 million stars, but since I am trying to be "fair", this gets

I'm taking a wee bit of a break from paranormal as I just started the book below... not quite sure about it just yet, only a few minutes into it... we'll see!!!
